SNMP monitoring

This one-day advanced training course is designed for engineers who are already using Zabbix and want to deepen their knowledge of SNMP-based monitoring.

This training focuses specifically on advanced SNMP monitoring techniques within Zabbix. It covers SNMPv1/v2c/v3 configuration, performance and availability monitoring of SNMP-enabled devices, usage of MIBs and OIDs, trap processing, low-level discovery, and template optimization. The course is aimed at giving participants a strong technical foundation for working with SNMP in real-world production environments. Even experienced users will benefit from practical insights and advanced configuration methods.

This course includes a mix of instructor-led theory and hands-on exercises in a virtual lab environment provided by our team. The lab sessions walk you through configuring SNMP hosts, using external SNMP tools, debugging SNMP issues, and building fully functional SNMP monitoring templates. You will have full access to your lab environment during the course and for 24 hours after it ends, giving you additional time to review or practice as needed.
